It has tried & tested expertise in Oil & Gas, Fertilizers& Chemicals, Power and Petrochemical sectors. Whenever required, ICONS never loses out on engaging personnel from relevant industry and makes full use of their vast experience.

The senior members of ICONS team are industry professionals with 30 to 40 year of experience in managing large size projects and plant operations both in India and abroad. ICONS fulfills the space where large engineering companies are not cost effective or not available due to size of project and provides cost effective solutions meeting global quality standards.

Initially, the company was started with 2 persons in 2011 and has steadily grown up to 50 associates at present. In a short span of time ICONS has completed 60+ assignments requiring 500 to 25000 man hours per assignment. It received its first order in April 2011 and built its order book brick by brick culminating in acquiring major contract from Hitachi japan for engineering of compressor packages in 2014.Subsequently, it bagged detail engineering contracts from big companies like Coromandel International, Aditya Birla Grasim Chemicals and ATEC. It has been able to enter into long term general engineering services contracts with Advanced Petrochem in 2016 and Tasnee in 2018, Petroleum majors in Saudi Arabia. Major feather in its cap is PMC contract for 1500 MTPD ammonia project received in Aug 2018.
DKM Rao, 52, Executive and Founder Director,man with vision is a Mechanical Engineer with 30 years rich experience in project and engineering management. He has managed international projects as engineering manager, project manager and construction manager, a rare feat, giving him courage to venture as entrepreneur. His area of expertise includes pre-FEED, FEED, Piping & Static Equipment Design, Project Management, Construction and Pre-Commissioning among others. Reading books and listening to videos of SadguruJaggiVasudev are his ways to keep him free from negative stress. Mr. Rao believes in “Sustain the patience in difficult times and have alternate plans in recession”.
P C Jain, 71, Director Operations, joined his old colleague Mr. DK M Rao in 2014 after completing his 8 year stint with Tata group driven by his passion to mentor young engineers. He is a post graduate in mechanical engineering and has 40 plus year experience in managing projects in India and abroad and plant operations. Mr. Jain has been closely involved as part of projects implementation with international technology and engineering companies such as HaldorTopsoe, Saipem, Krupp Uhde, ABB Lummus, Jacobs and Stami Carbon. He has deep knowledge of vendor capabilities both in India and abroad for supply of critical equipment and materials.
